inan 841
Morgan is getting cleverer by the day: its taken her a while to perfect this little escape routine but now it only takes her a few seconds to get out of the run: I have to padlock her in if I don't want her to get out!I reckon this is all the more clever as not only does she have to lift the latch which is on the outside of the gate, but hold it up to clear the bar at the same time as pulling it open inwards towards her! This is obviously a posed photo, you can see the poor dog has been superglued to the latch, shame on you Skycat! Seriously though sheis very racy for that cross isnt she? Ive seen one or two and though they turned out to be clever canny dogs they all had the exaggerated stifle bend of the GSD,and were considerably thicker through the loins, seems youve got just about the right type from the mix,all the best with her.See you at the great EAST OF ENGLAND SHOW,at Peterborough,on Oct the 14th,at theEast Of England Showground.INAN. forest of dean redneck 11,524
nice one ,i had to put a roof on socks run as everytime i took another dog out for exercising she would climb out of the run using the weldmesh, but she has jumped/scrabbled the solid side of the next run which is 5/6ft.she has sort of matured recently more adult like behaviour and sniffing rabbit runs ,going into cover and investitgating sidetracks, off the main track.if she sees a rabbit close to cover she wont attempt to run it, just watches.hasnt caught anything up to now as i held her back thinking she was too immature.she chased a adult fallow deer awhile ago but came back when called, and showed interest in a tom cat in the woods, but i recalled and put the lead on her ,as she took our own feral tom off the top of the 5ft gate and started ragging it . she really hates that cat a trait learned from our pure shepherd.most recent pic Quote Link to post

skycat 6,173
They're all looking great: love the look of Belle. Morgan is very affectionate and biddable too: just a real sweetheart to have around, even if she is getting a bit big for her boots sometimes! LOL Very sensitive though: a question of an iron hand in a fleece glove when it comes to training. Quote Link to post
