Ideation 8,216
Aye, to be fair we never get any problems on our land, all the farmers are very happy. . . our biggest problem is doing too good a job, to not make it worth the graft. We'll get a place and be knocking off 30-50 a day couple of times a week or more, and soon enough it will be cleared, to the point where its big sets, lots of nets and only a couple at home, so then we just sack it off until the next year. What I meant was its tough watching good land be given away by farmers and lost by mates. . . . because they don't do a good enough job. Quote Link to post
rabbitmad 2
hello mate, its not that he has too much he just uses it like a bank account, when he needs money he goes with me and my gear as he doesn,t have enough nets or ferrets to do them proper, thats why i said it is his loss not mine, he now goes with a guy who will poach it as soon as he turns his back to him, i am the type of person who will help anyone that is how i was brought up, i had to earn my respect, that is how i see it as i lived in a rough area and every corner there was a fight or something like that, i get a real buzz doing my job for the farmers i have land of as i now know that just sticking with your own permission is the best way, and my son goes with me as he is learning the job very well and he loves it as much as me and my ferreting mate. i agree with what you are saying ideation, he puts all the milky does back and the farmer tells him that he seen him letting them go and then he will tell him to his face that he doesn,t and he kills everything that is caught and you want to say something when you are stood there but it is not for me to say anything he will get caught proper one day and then he will be gone and i will be happy that i know i will be nowhere near him when it happens, i kill every rabbit because that is what was agreed when i took land on to clear rabbits, i just do my job and go home, everybody is happy.
