gnipper 6,508
So if the cock fires blanks the hens don't lay? I thought they'd lay anyway unless the hen itself was barren?

Shamo 319
I went to get some Pigeons off a mate in Wales. He let out the old and young spare Birds, within five minutes there were 4 less young. Two Cars, one House Roof and a Road ended wearing them as Hats!! Never bothered....lol. DUCKWING 302
Yrs ago men would give a fortune for roll downs ..... if the men arent competitive or have been you are risking wasting time and feed on poor quality . ive stopped competing as I wasn't hapoy with some of the men who showed up unannounced to watch a kit from all parts of the country ... and unknown to me . However I still breed from birds I would place in a competitive kit .... and breed from my best in any breeding situation its important that the breeder has a goal and sticks to it ! Ive seen parlour rollers many times a friend kept them .... they fly very little and require a specialist loft to get the best from them ...

Saleem 0
Hi There Lovely Blue mag pair - do they roller ? I have mags well over 13yrs now. I have yellow & white, Black & White, Bronzes, Silvers which I have bred this year & Building my Creames. These are all in kits of around +15 each group. All fly really well & some are good long rollers. regards. Saleem
gnipper 6,508
They tumble rather than roll but they fly really well. I've noticed they are more advanced than rollers from the nest, quicker to feed and fly and the wind doesn't seem to bother them too.
