Importing Salukis

Most galgos are soft feckers and couldn't pull a cracker let alone a deer, good wind and feet though.

 

Bullx I can't see it performing how I want.

I have made contact with a friend from Saudi and tbh I cannot believe how cheap I can get salukis (import costs aside)

 

Anybody any idea why (is it normal) or is I just know the right person?

 

Just check how much a Russell, for example, costs in Europe and how much it cost in the UK. Are the UK Russells any worst?

The import makes them much more expensive, though. ;)

My point was that it is pseemingly cheaper to buy and import at the prices I've been told from Saudi, than buy a saluki here in UK or Europe

I'll be paying for the import as for the visitors visa no problem. Our kid is out there now working and I'm very good friends with an extremely nice family who will support my application whenever I want (I think they know someone )

 

As I have said desert blood isn't the way for me, this was more wow they are pretty cheap out there type thread maybe in the future I'll consider one as part of a breeding program but for now I can't be arsed with the ignorant fuuckers :laugh:

Aye, sounds like that post was off the top of your head there is an easier way mate. Get a mediocre dog, hype it up to f**k and charge £500 a shag, it works for a few boys on here

This is my point: they are lot cheaper in the country of origin (well, Saluki is not really from Saudi, but let's say).

I don't know about over there mate but its the general term up here given to the salukis style of running..... That dog runs like a coo
