MR TEA POT 1,287
I have used one for about 9 months now,i put it in some bushes near a rabbit warren, with a seat inside its a nice comfortable few hours shooting.I leave mine there all the time,so the undergrowth grows round and on it to make it blend in more. The only downside was the floor sheet everytime you moved it it made such a noise but i cut it out and replaced with a bit of old carpet,i can now shoot with my slippers on Quote Link to post

Seem's your way of cutting and inserting carpet could be a way forward as we have stopped using ours because of the noise. Quote Link to post
MR TEA POT 1,287
Hello MR LEE and welcome to this site .I used to sit in my hide waiting for a rabbit to pop out the warren then when i tried to get in postion for a shot,i would move my foot then it soundered like i was walking over a bowl of rice krispies. So i thought about it and came up with the carpet idea,i do have a good brain wave now and again . What i did was measure the inside and got a piece of old carpet to fit then i cut the bottom out of my hide but left about a inch of the orginal floor and stapled the carpet to it so the hide was sealed all the way round to stop ants and slugs and things getting in. And i tell something else as well on a cold morning/evening its quite warm in there as well because your not on the ground.........and you can wear your slippers.
