any one seen any fox cubs yet , there definitely about , and ive had reports of seeing cubs about 6 weeks old running around........lovely too see and a lot of respect too true hunters who only take out problem foxes for a reason ...... a lot of respect for such a predator , and let be for another day ,......any reports would be interesting as this mild weather is certainly changing habit

finding somewhere dry here would be the biggest problem

is it that bad where you are paulas , a lot of earths quite wet and then the wooded earths holding more and in thick cover.....gnipper that was a good litter ... I wonder if the flooding helps for food for the foxes or makes it worse ,...you find all sorts on the higher ground,...... the other day I found a milky otter ran over down the bottom of a local road by the river......luckily there isn't much damage so waiting for taxidermist

nice , I was out the other night and there was a brace in the middle of the field , vixen was led down and dog fox was over the top , but they weren't tied ,.....it was either before or after they finished mateing ,.......they were making hell of a racket

went for a wonder the other night, didn't see anything but predators and the odd munty barking in the woods, not one rabbit or hare,

Mate of mine had a litter of 9 a couple of weeks ago and he said their eyes were just opening.

You'd imagine that was two litters together ,which does happen, which means two vixens have given birth.

 

young vixens out the same litter will sometimes stick together for a couple of year ...
