clipo 871
said this story to a few lads earlier and as non dog men they never understood and said i was wrong......... but need to get it off my chest as hundreds on here will agree took the dogs out earlier........nothing special, just a sunday afternoon mooch..........all went well......."UNTILL" on the last part of the mooch towards home, bear in mind i hadnt seen a single person for 4 hours, i came across a couple walking there two border terriers down a track that you cant really avoid bumping into them..........they put the dogs on a lead and i was about to do the same but as i was walking towards them i found a gateway into a small field so thought id just jump over it for now, jump back on the track when they pass and never see them again..........well f**k me........i cant believe what happened............ the old bedo x bitch, my bull cross and the spaniel just casually floated through the lower bars of the gate where they could...........the tall lanky deerhound X decided to jump it........now please understand this bitch can jump or i would never let her attempt it.........she hesitated for what seemed an eternity but was more than likely not even a sceond and then, right as the border terrier folk were walking past, jumped the gate and got her back leg caught and face planted her self right on the deck the other side of the gate and starts howling like f**k infront of the border owners....... they were like "jesus christ" and were calling me cruel for "making her jump it" when i never....i just got out there way and went home but they just seen her f**k it up lol heard through the local "grapvine" that shes going round saying i force dogs to jump dangerous objects ffs

bird 9,969
Lol stewie, it's Sod's law mate. I hate when they do that slow motion jumping, time stands still. They pick the moments lol. I had cracker the other day, went on a walk not been for a while. walking down this lane go through farm yard, put dogs on lead comes to 5bar gate at the end of farm yard. There was 1/ 2 dozen ramblers the other side, so called them on, they were fecking about with the the gate lol. They called me on lol. So as got closer , I started to slip the dogs to jump over, Bryn just went right over , but Buck was fecking about by me smelling something, so I left him and got over myself, and this time make sure I didn't feckin fall off lol . The ramblers were about 3 feet away from the gate, when Buck decided he was going jump it, Christ he nearly landed on top of them , they had to duck down , they went mad said he could have hurt them if he landed on top of them with his size feckin wimps lol, mind you he is a big bugger .!

whippet 99 2,613
you know the crack if you have running dogs your automatically branded as being cruel ,......and that was just a good excuse for them too get out what they think of you ...... I would of let fly at them ,......when im ferreting I always polite on permission as they might know landowners and it pays to be polite.......but there are times that you can give it back ........hate these kind of people , always looking for fault,....there are some which would of asked if the dog was ok,.......but the majority would of been the same attitude
baw 4,360
You have just got to laugh at them. Half the time they are walking over weight dogs. I can mind meeting a woman on a track I walked religiously same time every morning, never seen her before in my life. My dogs off the lead f***ing about in the trees. It's a Forrest track, goes round in a circle. I always walked it clockwise, there was a few bits cleared you had a chance of a chase and that was the best way. Anyway, you seen the person but not many. This day this woman comes waddling along the track towards me, wee fat dog 100 yards behind her. She starts informing me that your not supposed to walk the track the way I was, you had to do it anti clockwise this isn't a forestry walk or nowt, just a f***ing track to cut logs you can imagine I told her what I thought of her rule but its the mind set of these fannys that amazes me. Only time I ever saw her as well
