B.P.R 2,798
Dropped the ferrets in a burrow today.... my wee jill was literally swimming through the water in the lower parts if the burrow... She must have been submerged at some stages through the network of runs... And were in a part of scotland where the weathers no too bad to be fair. How yous finding the wet weather? ... Bunny Boiler 177
Brilliant for lamping on foot if you dont mind the mud. Lots of rabbits on the ground for me. Just difficult to walk over the fields. If theres a bit of frost to slightly firm it up and stop it clogging together or sinking as you walk, it's a dream. Ferreting is a goner. My burrows are all underwater to the mouth of the holes. Edited February 16, 2014 by Bunny Boiler Quote Link to post

simonrocco 175
I went ferreting the other week and most of the setts were full of water and hardly any rabbits to be found i was thinking that they might have moved into the dry stone walls where its dryer Quote Link to post

fluff 409
with the amount of rain weve had alot of sets are washed out in some areas , i like the higher country or beach comeing ,when we have had a wet spell, rabbits like most animals, move when flooded , to higher ground or live in the cover ,hopefully theyll dry out over spring and summer ,and breed plenty Quote Link to post
vanman1 411
One of my perms has been underwater for 6 weeks or more, weve had succes with running long nets around large bramble patches nearby which seems where all the bunnies have headed. 1 Quote Link to post
