Rake aboot 4,935
Right you lot I`m a "Lycra clad moron" and thought I would add my tuppenceworth. Cyclists are traffic, they are entitled to be there and use the road, so you are obliged to treat them as traffic, not scum 2 or 4 abreast makes no difference as most car drivers just sit behind them making an excuse to throw abuse at them. Does maybe 1 minute added to your journey really make you feel the need to throw abuse at a total stranger ? I see it every day,(this morning included) and it`s pretty annoying that most won`t even stop to be re-educated by the fitter cyclist that the fat wanker has just abused. Bikes are traffic as I have said, the roads are not for cars, they are for traffic, tractors, combines, trailers etc,, most of them slower than many cyclists, you all sit behind them and say nowt, but because it`s someone trying to enjoy some exercise and sport, you feel the need to hurl abuse. Is that because many drivers couldn't`t partake in sport if you held them f***ing upright with a dart in there hand.?? British cycling has went crazy, so get used to it. The more on the road the better as far as I`m concerned. I saw maybe 50 or 60 out this morning,, not enough, but a decent amount. Car drivers are all wankers, the lot of em,, fat lazy fecks that should trade there car in for a bike, More bikes, less cars to moan about em,, that would work. walshie 2,804
So what is best or safe a group of cycles 4 abreast approx 50m long obstruction or two abreast at approx 160m obstruction ? Why are all the posters so angry about other peoples pass times ? I shoot, fish, cycle (in lycra) Fly RC Helicopters,Motorcycle, drive a car and a van. But could find fault with people who enjoy the same hobbies as me, but why ? Single file. We drivers don't make cyclists ride along at 60 mph, so why do cyclists seem intent on making motorists drive at 10mph?

They can become 'traffic' when they start paying some road tax IMO. Majority of cyclists are fine but there are a lot that think car/van drivers are the devil and it's these pricks that need a lesson in road safety. I've done a tiny bit of road work, I hated it when cars where behind me. I'd get out the road as soon as I could. I had a mate who's attitude was "f**k them".....
