In saying that though, in my time I've witnessed things in the field that if I hadn't seen it with my own eyes I would be saying " that's bullshit" but hey like most things I read on here I don't take to serious and with a large pinch of salt . as i said we wernt there, i dont know the lads involved, im not going to call anyone a lier over this type of content, maybe the debths dug are a little exagerated maybe, maybe not I DONT KNOW. 300acres is a big farm, if the tried the only 7 earths on the place as they said they did then 8 foxes isnt a big number for 300 acres.... they were just exceptionally lucky to have met 8 in a row, truth or not i dont know, but as i said im not going to call any man a lier.

If they did what he says they did then fair play,but to hit on 7 earths in a row holding fox hard to believe,a pack of hounds would not run that many in to ground in a days hunting.I am diging a long time and it has definatly never happened with us so far,there has been days where we have had as many but that would be maybe 3-4 in the 1 earth and at most 3-4 digs.When you really think about it between walking from earth to earth and droping dogs in,giving them at least 10-15 min to settle into the game then diging and then backfilling,well i dont care how easy the diging was this would take a hell of a lot of time,like a 4mtr dig is not a shallow dig so to start with it would be at least 6ft by 4ft in lenght-width and 13ft down f**k me that would be enough for me let alone 6 more digs.

I dont dig,i just carry the shovel and graft and give orders,then when i see the shovel come flying out of the dig instead of dirt i know its time to shut up,lol,Eamon really gets pissed when i start telling him how to dig.

Jesus I thought only I done that,one of my sons is 35 and digging with me since he was a child,he does the boars now in Oz,when he is home I still tell him how to do it.LOL
