Baw, there are so many double negatives in that statement; I'm not sure if you have no interest in Sunderland, or you've become Max Mk2 ! LOL !

 ok, I'll put a bit of it in brackets :tongue2: this make more sense lol.

f**k me, I've never wanted a team ( I have no interest in whatsoever and never have), to win f**k all, in all my life, as I do Sunderland :D

Being a pedantic b*****d, I've added a couple of coma's.

The word comas doesn't have an apostrophe S, the apostrophe is to replace the word is..... Like how's that built..... How is that built

Max had no answer about the Roker Road, as it may have led him to Roker Park, which was demolished years ago! If he went up the A19 or along Wessington Way, that would lead him to the Stadium Of Light; an easy mistake for some one not from Sunderland to make. Oh well, it's probably better than supporting Hartlepool or the 'Boro ! LOL !

No, wasn't born in Sunderland, but then again neither were you. I lived in Penshaw, couldn't get more Mackem than that, also lived in Washington and could see from my window the hill the Lampton Worm was supposed to be wrapped around, right next to the bridge over the Wear. I don't support any football team, bit if I did I'd probably support my local team rather than one in the general area who happen to be in a cup final.

I remember Sunderland bringing at least 14k down early '90's (filled a 9k stand and had both corners/nobody did that all yr), thousands outside, they were boozing with us in the parkside, even adapting are hi yi yippie song to incorporate Newcastle The crowd was given to be 38k (think sardines), how swales kept his kite straight when the pretend att was announced only he knows, wasn't long after the inland revenue started head counting minor grounds to let the big boys know their tickle was up..

The biggest crowds we had, Max, was back in the days when we had shipyards, steelworks and coal mines. It didn't cost £35-40 to see a game! We had teams we could relate to, not players on £100,000 a week. I'ts not our game anymore, it belongs to the money men! Enjoy your day at Wembley, but don't pay the fiver for a burger or a pint. !!

I've just been reliably informed Sunderland trumped the 91 following in the cup in 73, cause the official capacity of maine rd was a little sketchy back then the numbers are hardly scientific, though again the figure was given to be 54k with the crowd pissin themselves and pointing to the directors box. Sunderland all over the moss, pissed up asleep on peoples doorsteps.
