jcm 2,327
To start it off I started the season with a young Lakeland dog that had seen next to nothing and was just starting to hunt bearing in mind it's my first terrier i have had and wasn't to sure how to go about things but it's safe to say that he is a natural to hunting and had opened my eyes to how important it is to have a terrier while out and about as he was getting into the tightest of spots. Anyway I have had some cracking days out with him and carnt wait to next season 2 Quote Link to post

bryanm45 787
Rabbit numbers around me have fallen which has had an effect on my ferreting where sometimes we come back with nothing, having a terrier bushing has added something new and we have had more success bushing than ferreting, it's my little terriers first season he's 11 months now and my runners have taken to him like a dream, can't wait for bunny numbers to recover. 1 Quote Link to post

Ideation 8,216
JCM - The teckel x is mine, and it was bred local. Dam was a pure beagle, from a hunting pack, originally from Ireland I think, and sire was a beagle/Teckel mix, from a private pack here. The bitch is learning her trade well, great voice, and hunting speed has increased. Generally good obedience and recall. Especially loves driving big game lol. 2 Quote Link to post

day and night walker 235
I took the dog out yesterday only intended staying out for an hour or so but had too take the dog back after about 10 mins, she flushed a rabbit out of a bramble patch and cut her ear, when i first noticed it i thought she had opened her head up because she was drenched it was pouring out so took her home cleaned her up and it was just as nick on the tip of her ear. I was expecting to find a huge gash. Quote Link to post
