To start it off I started the season with a young Lakeland dog that had seen next to nothing and was just starting to hunt bearing in mind it's my first terrier i have had and wasn't to sure how to go about things but it's safe to say that he is a natural to hunting and had opened my eyes to how important it is to have a terrier while out and about as he was getting into the tightest of spots.

Anyway I have had some cracking days out with him and carnt wait to next season

Great news mate !! I took ideation to a spot I havnt been for a while lurchers see a few but had his little teckle cross over and soon showed me how much was about nothing like a good bushing dog !!

Hi hunting folk even though my terrier turned 2 recently this has been her first proper season due too the fact that the fella i got her from had not really done alot with her. As i have said in other posts she was coming on fairly well the end of last summer then around about november time she started too lose interest anyway recently i have been taking her to some places that have a fair amount of rabbits ect and she is starting to come good again in fact the last 3 times i have had her out she has managed to catch on 2 occasions atb daywalker.

Rabbit numbers around me have fallen which has had an effect on my ferreting where sometimes we come back with nothing, having a terrier bushing has added something new and we have had more success bushing than ferreting, it's my little terriers first season he's 11 months now and my runners have taken to him like a dream, can't wait for bunny numbers to recover.

The bitch is learning her trade well, great voice, and hunting speed has increased. Generally good obedience and recall. Especially loves driving big game lol.

I took the dog out yesterday only intended staying out for an hour or so but had too take the dog back after about 10 mins, she flushed a rabbit out of a bramble patch and cut her ear, when i first noticed it i thought she had opened her head up because she was drenched it was pouring out so took her home cleaned her up and it was just as nick on the tip of her ear. I was expecting to find a huge gash.
