baw 4,360
Anybody heard about Schumacher? Last I heard they were going to take him out of his induced coma and there was chances he had permanent damage. That was a few weeks ago, anyone heard anything? Best formula 1 driver there ever was IMO.

baw 4,360
Ok Pete mate, cheers pal. Hope he wakes up all good, can't imagine what a man with a brain and functions as quick as his would be like if he had damage to it.
The Seeker 3,048
Not looking good I heard he's now got Pnuemonia They can't work out of he's still in a natural coma or if the coma is still induced. Agree about his talent, he should have gone out on the track if it was to have to happen, not on a ski slope

I can mind when he broke his leg, missed some of the season and came back and played the no2 driver flawlessly. I think it was Baracello was the guy who said not only is he the best driver in the world but he's also the best no2 in the world.

Eddie Irvine tells the story of schummys broken leg a bit different to that and how schummy couldn't stand being no2 but when Irvine was asked how he felt being 2nd to schummy he said "its not that hard he is the best there has ever been"

Ofcourse schu didn't like it. If there was one thing I wished he'd never done, it was coming out of retirement.

One of the things Irvine said was that schummy was not a development driver but that he was that good he could make any car work for him, unfortunately the merc was just too slow and inconsistent even with him at the wheel and he couldn't develop it further
