Right....... So we are led to believe the previous owner was a good enough trainer to teach a dog to hold a rabbit alive but couldn't teach the dog it's name or recall? Or is it just you that the dog

This seems to be one of the most common problems encountered with lads and their running dogs and one easily avoided Recall trained through treats and praise is limited, in as far as when most treats

I was going to ask him the same. I am only guessing here, you have only had him a week? Edited to add, let me know who you are selling the rabbits to, a tenner per rabbit is not to be sniffed at lol.

the way i used to work was i would catch to order, maybe 20-25 per week max. there wouldnt be enough customers to buy 12 a day.the young lads local to me are doing the same now, catching to order and 10quid a rabbit. there is a grey hound gallop out the road from me and the lad that owns it always has alot of lads comming galloping dogs and most give a bunny after the gallop so he used take a good few every week and have them there for lads if they wanted em. just because you dont know about it baw doesnt mean it dont happen. i bet there are loads of lads on here that will let you know how much bunnys are makin.

ive no problem with permission mate, and anywhere im allowed go i look after the farmers by giving them a hand from time to time if they need it, in turn they tell the next lad the crack and you get more permission. it works both ways. they are making a tenner a go for years and anybody involved in ferrits, lurchers or greyhounds know the price of them. i know other lads that sell them at the tracks on different nights,

its not that easy to get big numbers consistantly.

now i think these last few posts should be erased by mods as they dont look so good to the uneducated eye.....

It is easy saying you make money off. Them it isn't easy work, and w most u will sell in a week is 10 so you won't b exactly making a fortune

thats all down to how many trainers are around your area. i know around me its all greyhound yards and horse yards/studs!!

if you think about the content in the last few posts and what they contain it doesnt paint a very pretty picture now does it. the points have been made about the price of rabbits and alot of guests read these topics so lets not go into too much debth as it doesnt sound so good. best of having them wiped and nobody cant quote anything...
