just keep your eyes open iv bin draged off my bike a few times when dog as seen sumthing and ran after it takeing me with it

Ye basically i use to put my foot near the front wheel till the dogs steady up so as not to get tangled up in it but other than that just put the lead round ya wrist and steady away

I use a extending lead, and I've not had any problem, the first time he ran into the wheel going slowly since then he's kept about a foot off it. My dog sniffs a lot so if you slow down to turn, his nose is in a hedge and he's cocking his leg shortly after. Also he does his business after a bit of exercise so I've got to watch out for the signs or he just stops and does it anyway, and he's like a 32kg anchor. Hope this helps
