reaper1064 285
Twice a week I take my son to the Gym at a hotel at East Mids Airport, we usually drive back home through the airport back road and there are usually between 20-30 rabbits running round no matter what the weather. Why do I keep doing this to myself. On my permissions if it's raining the rabbits keep their heads down, the ones at the airport don't give a damn. 3 Quote Link to post
Wildling 520
Feel lucky you've got any rabbets left to shoot, this rainfall and fields being flooded is wiping out colony's near me, I'll be hitting the pigeons hard this year along with the rats but properly won't be touching most of my rabbet permissions unless the numbers start exploding again. 1 Quote Link to post

WoodsmanJim 160
I know the area well Reaper! I used to live in shepshed and drive round those areas all the time, there are always loads about aren't there! I remember going to the Hilton at J24 once and the field in front of that being COVERED in bunnies. There must've been 40 in less than half an acre. Not safe to shoot there unfortunately due to being only yards away from main roads and a busy car park/ hotel entrance. Shame! Jim Quote Link to post
reaper1064 285
That's the one Jim, no way you'd get permission due to it being on airport property, it's run by tree huggers. Quote Link to post
