since it's the Irish that are chatting here i think it's worth mentioning that it's not legal to take deer with a dog in Ireland, unless you have a license from minister o'gormley(unlikely)

and it's not legal to take a hare with a lurcher either.

worth remembering when your out walking around ..........or running around .....or posting pictures :whistling:

Its perfectly legal to take hare with lurchers. If you have written permission from the land owner, stating that the hares are doing damage ect, its no problem. I have been threw this with the wildlife department and guards, on a few occassions.

Further more, the coursing clubs, want all the hares for themselfs.
