Flocked Or Un-Flocked Decoys?

If asked about flocked decoys; the image below speaks for its self when both decoys are placed next to each other in the field. I almost take flocked decoys for granted and have almost for got what my old plastic ones look like.

Flocked for me when out decoying with the 12, they just look so much more realistic.

Best decoys for my shooting (sub 12 air, or shotgun ) is dead pigeons/ crows/ magpies mounted on decoy cages.I simply freeze some shot birds and use when needed.

 

Very effective indeed but if I`m stuck for the real thing then "flocked" decoys are my 2nd best option.
