Wildling 520
Sometimes makes you wonder if people need to have a breeding licence to have kids let alone f***ing pets !
beast 1,884
shocking, poor little mite. and the big question is, how do you stop it happening again? all these owners must have seen news reports of other deaths caused by dogs, and yet such is their total ignorance that i bet they dont even consider their dogs as a threat to their kids. yes of course they need to be punished somehow, but that in itself isnt going to stop another attack, as they will never see the warning signs or understand dog behaviour. do you make everyone take a test before owning a dog? do you ban any dog big enough to kill a child (which probably leaves a few chihuahuas and a pug or two) ? do you make anyone who has a child dress it in chainmail until it is old enough to take up arms against the dog world? seriously, i dont know how you legislate against this without punishing the vast majority of dog owners. to be honest the more people i see with dogs, the more amazed i am that dog-related problems arent more common (not just attacks) because most people havent got a fecking lcue how to manage a dog. its just a crying shame

The Seeker 3,048
I bet any money in the Police station she was saying, "I don't understand it, he's never been aggressive before, he always good with children" At the end of the day whatever your feelings on breeding this type of animal, this little girl has lost her life due to a dog which should not have been anywhere near a baby. I hope they get the book thrown at them.

In the one here was a 18 year old with a Alsatian.
paulus 26
poorly socialised dogs will always be an issue, when does were door key dogs from pups they learnt the social graces at the correct age, nowadays there like our kids locked indoors and isolated from the big bad world, dogs need to be socialised and boundaries established early in their lives

Huan72 687
Unfortunately, theres a job in this country that is the most responsible and important job anyone can ever do and that anyone of any ability, even the most idiotic and moronic individual that has ever walked the face of the planet is allowed to do. Some through desire and who would be great at the job never get the chance to do it and some who struggle with the very concept of responsibility get to do it over and over again with free abandon, causing a trail of devastation in their wake...........................PARENTING, please for God sake, if you know deep down that you are unable or two selfish to dedicate yourself to your kid wholeheartedly, don't have children, they don't ask to be brought into the world.

scothunter 12,609
its all to common these days, and you would seriously think that after the amount of dead kids from dog attacks that we have seen.all dog owners would think twice about thier own charges.its obvious they dont give shit.something will be done, and like always responsible dog owners will suffer.having said that if whatever they do stops another kid from such a horrible death, then its something i will have to accept. think we all know regardless of whos to blame, that this needs sorted, and fast. I have always been paranoid with dogs around kids, and never left mine alone with any,in fact when my family/mates brought there kids into my home, the dog was put away.my current dog is pretty aggressive towards dogs and strangers, and i have no doubt whatsoever he would bite them.so for that reason he is kept in check, and if i had kids living here,he wouldnt be!
