Its_grim_up_norf 577
haha! probably mate the beach where i surf has had not great reports on the water quality. Id be lucky if a fart escaped from the suit im wearing at the minute, never mind a floater. 6 mm, hood, gloves and boots. North sea in winter isnt too warm. Just realised, i probably look like a seal in one of these so it may have been trying to f**k me Edited February 11, 2014 by Its_grim_up_norf

Its_grim_up_norf 577
sharks arent daft enough to come where its this cold haha! Id risk sharks to be able to surf in shorts in warm waters, in the sun all day.
terryd 8,421
This one used to be right pain in the arse it would spot me fishing from miles away then suddenly appear right by the bank near me. It was a race to see if I could land any bass before he got to it. One day he beat me to the punch and stripped off about a 100 yards of line before I snapped it off I was not amused. The kids were laughing there heads off. After that I just used to pack up and move to get away from the dam thing We had one sitting there a few feet away when we were spinning for mackerel by the old Lifeboat slip in Tenby a few years back. We chucked it a few fresh mackerel which it ate, then chucked it a frozen one we had as bait and had defrosted. It put it to its mouth then flipped it over its shoulder and just sat there staring at us like it was saying "Nice fecking try but you ain't palming me off with that shit!" clever dam things for sure. This one positioned its self perfectly to intercept any fish I tried to bring in and when I did launch bit of lead its way it just dived and popped back up with a smug look on its chops like this Edited February 12, 2014 by terryd
baw 4,360
We went sea kayaking last year. Bloody seal tried to jump on my kayak lol. Cool sight yes....but no fecker is going to capsize me so I told it off lol and it got off haha Your braver than me mate, that's my worst nightmare. I've had them within feet of me, that heads f***ing massive when your sitting on the water staring at it eye level feet away lol. I'd paddle the water to a foam if one tried to get on the kayak
