luckysod 30
I recently bred a litter of lurcher pups and decided to keep 2 back and that goes against the grain a bit because of all the work involved and I'm not one for keeping 2 and then let the lesser one go at a later date there both here to stay and I'm pleased to say there both coming on really well both got individual characters and are a real joy to train, there about 7 months old now and just over 22 tts at min, the red/fawn bitch is Maddie and the black bitch is Tia, there collie/grey x whip/grey, roll on next season gonna have some fun. 6 Quote Link to post

bird 9,926
nice pups them, just right for the rabbit job I tried bring on 2 pups at same time, it didn't work for me, as they bonded to each other and not to me, even if I took them out solo. I had same prob with my pup Buck now I had him with my older dog for 3 months when I 1st got him, and they got good bond, even though they are in separate kennels+run now. dogs are pack animals and that don't ever change I think, but Buck 100% for him self when hunting he leaves the bond at home for the other dog bryn lol. 1 Quote Link to post

Yes Mate one of my concerns at first but they both see me as "top dog", they both walk to heal off lead and when they go off for a run there straight back and they both give me a little nudge with there snouts, I'm just starting to show them a little bit and there both coming on a treat, thanks everyone for your comments Quote Link to post
