roybo 2,873
Was thinking of breeding my bitchshe's 8.never had any pups off her ,just never Got round to it and always seemed to be the wrong time ,so if she ever comes In season I will . It's been a long decision as I didn't Want to add to the pups that are already there,so God willing she will have a litter with a couple of pups, I beleive there is something to add even if it's only that elusive 1% as I don't think the perfect dog yet exists jmho.... roybo 2,873
But then there'd be no dogs for anyone If you buy in ...the people should be trying to improve their dogs Either way someone is going to breed and they should be trying to improve what they have imho 2 Quote Link to post

Apart from a few coursing type dogs that are right at the top of there game,,, I don't think I have seen many dogs that couldn't be better,,,,,,that said I'm very very critical of dogs,,, 2 Quote Link to post
Astanley 11,565
I, hoping my pup wont come into season until she is about 8 months old , then I can get her first litter bred and sold before shes 12 months , she will get a good rest then and I wont breed her again until next summer , I always miss a season in between pup , this costs me money , but the dogs welfare comes first ,As to choosing a stud , I use the old dogmans saying " nearest is cheapest and cheapest is best " 3 Quote Link to post
