hawki 1,431
If you have 30 minutes to spare, check this out, great interview with Noel Gallagher by Irish broadcast legend, Gay Byrne. Noel says it how it is, no bullshit and he has a good sence of humor........ TOP BLOKE

oneredtrim 148
coming thru M/c airport oneday with a couple of mancs who know noel well, he let on to the lead member of my entourage..whilst the rest made a b line for him, the lad noel acknowledged by name mumbled 'orrite' coupled with a very eastmanc upper head movement and simply carried on walking, busy eating a packet of quavers. He walked up the corridor turned to see where everybody had gone and wiped his mitts on his jumper like a 5yr old would...noel was on the floor in hysterics.

I have been banging out a few beady eye tunes of late I have to admit. Liam's a bit of a divvy sometimes bit he is/was just as much oasis as noel. Both legends in my eyes. Feckin love em !
gnasher16 30,425
Not really into music myself but for someone who always struck me as a bit of a prat i thought he came across well in that........cant remember if it was him or the brother i forget his name now who used to grate on me every time he opened his mouth i wanted to nail it shut ! Fair do,s to him he seems an intelligent and interesting sort of chap seems a pattern with a lot of rough kids off the estates who end up with wealth they end up decent well rounded people yet never lose that aggressive common sense and loyalty to their manor....nice to see. oneredtrim 148
I was pally with a gud guitar kid back in the mid '90's, he told me about Liam trying to drop Noel right innit...by refusing to sing-on whilst performing a number with his voice in mind (Maine Rd '96). Me pal didn't exactly rever Noel but I knew him enough to listen intently when he described Noel pulling up a stool and an acoustic guitar and performing the number himself, telling bollock brains to sling it, I particularilly sp? remember him saying 'takes some bolloks that, in a football stadium infront of your own ask anyone that was there'... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ji4m7bRz8W8 Been in Noel's company when he was @ india house, cause we're a slightly holder generation he's intrested in hearing the time before him and don't need anything repeating, regardless of how nick-nock the lingo goes. oneredtrim 148
The coat he's got on in that vid ^ was first worn by the quaver eater, when it was the only one in the country, the quaver eaters mother is also called Peggy from irish stock.Bizarre but very true. It's part of the reason why Noel was pissin himself at being blanked, somewhere(in M/c) he'll always be mid-table no matter what he writes, to his credit he thinks that arrangement is well brill Eating out of his hand..http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jBbyc3t-Ctc He's tried to buy the King Colin mosiac from me, more than twice, even once resorting to inventing a character to attempt to badger it from me grip, the artist did him a less significant variant to shut him up.
