Ferreting, lamping with dog and gun, rifles, foxhunting, terrierwork, deerstalking, shotguns, fly fishing and so on... I am interested in most field sports. And I still have a couple of jills available..... Quote Link to post

And I still have a couple of jills available..... Are they polecat or albino? We took our two young uns out today and they did us proud but a few of the buries are pretty extensive so the rabbits were really giving them the round around underground and they got knackered by the end. Might be interested in two more?!?!? Also, dont suppose you have a lamping lurcher that my pup could see work? Shes 6 1/2 months and has picked shot and wounded rabbits up in the lamp but is yet to nail her first. I dont take her for long or often coz of her age but i think it would do her good, shes my first so im pretty much training by guess work! Quote Link to post
Snelly 0
2 polecat, 1 albino. As for coming out with my lurcher, possibly. I would need to meet you first - trust that you understand. Is there anyone on here that can vouch for you? Cheers, Snelly. Quote Link to post

Thats fair enough, im new on here so no one can vouch for me but you would be welcome to come to my permission if that would help set your mind at ease a bit? I will have to let you know about the ferrets, I keep the dog and my hunting buddy keeps the ferrets (he is up for more but his wife is not as enthusiastic!) and for two more would need to build a court or extend the run. I've got a real soft spot for polecats though so i will see what i can do! Cheers Quote Link to post
olly 0
sorry not been on for a while www.sussexlongdogs.org.uk and yes they do take day entries and as Cupid STunt points out there are a few wankers but most are a very good crowd.... I put myself in the wanker category Edited October 1, 2007 by olly Quote Link to post
Cupid Stunt 18
and as Cupid STunt points out there are a few wankers but most are a very good crowd.... I put myself in the wanker category The folks running their dogs were fine bar the odd one. The wankers were a few of the committee or had influence on it, ones that didn't like getting beat & threw tantrums. Quote Link to post

The trouble with clubs/shows etc. is that if the "expected" winner doesn't win someone has a tantrum and if the "expected" winner does win then someone else has a tantrum about that. Prefer to just get out in the countryside with my dogs etc. on my own or with friends who have the same interests. Quote Link to post
