After all the advice I started leaving some oyster shell in the pen so the hen could pick at it at her pleasure and this morning I fed them and there was a egg in the nest box I removed it immediately and replaced it with another egg it just goes to show if ya don't know just ask thanks again

When you say Spanish, I presume you mean Spanish game?

I used to breed these and unless they're given plenty of space, free range if possible they will eat eggs and definately kill their chicks. After all that if you keep the chicks in too small an area they kill each other too! They can be a headache but at the same time they are some of the most fun birds I have ever kept and will give you lots of pleasure
