recently got some orange dub dub and i,m pleasantly surprised

my usual set up is double theraband with a lot of taper [30mm to 10mm] but as you can imagine these don,t last long

anyway on testing the dub dub i didn,t expect much as the draw is light ,but that doesn,t always mean any thing.

chrono test for my 11mm lead are tbg- 180 fps

dub dub singles- 160fps

yes the dub dub is 20fps slower but is easier to draw and i,m assuming will last longer .

another surprise is that when launching my large 14mm lead they are more or less the same.

the tbg is a lot better with 10mm steel however which also surprised me because lighter ammo is usualy better with lighter faster bands.

it,s early days yet and i,ve not done much field testing but thought this may be interesting and wondered if any body has tried this stuff?

bear in mind that these results are with my slingshots using my style of shooting and others may get different reults ,or maybe even better

thanks for reading

fps for your 1745 are 170 fps lee.

yes these speeds are low and i,m using a short draw length at the moment but the temperature was low where i did the testing

also using an artificial light in a confined space so accuracy is important so i used shorter draw.

the speed doesn,t bother me because i was just trying to do a comparason between the different bands ,so the readings are relative to each other.
