Without sounding like i'm being funny about Ace,but surely by now folks should be using something either down from him or something different as the old problem of over used stud dogs might raise it's head again.He should have (Ace) produced something better than himself by now and if not why are folks still using him?,if you get where i'm coming from?.

He has been used a hell of a lot. Because of size and looks. Shame as no one has ever answered the question on his working ability. When iv asked people why they want to use him they always say because he is small. Never once has anyone said because he grafts.

I have answered on this before, "Browner" dug to him when he had him for a week lining his bitch a few years back, I'm using a little dog off him that is being grafted, getting pups into the right homes that will test them is the hardest thing because most lads only see them as a rat dog. atb, WM

Love these threads on dogs,people who have never spoken to the owners of dogs saying weather its been worked or not....pinsley ace has been dug to a good bit more than most,if the odd photo of a shallow hole is much to go by and a bit of blood , hes been in the ground for over 10 hours and and done seasons not days I know this for a fact. Hes now with a new owner because pinsley has moved house and the ground is littered with sets, pinsley dosnt dig any more and wont exersise a dog on a lead.hope this puts rumours to bed

Thanks for That Kate. We can only go off what we are told by lads we trust when it comes to dogs spread around the country. I'm glad to hear he has been doing the job below ground because he has sired a hell of a lot of pups in recent years. Let's hope his offspring can produce the goods where it matters and not just in the show ring.

Ace has covered 10 bitchs in total two of witch being pinsleys bitchs and at six year old I can assure you more were turn down than covered. With breeding and health being a priority over £££
