Crap Weather, Good Numbers, Big Banks.

Out with Landmark rabbit control the past few days on a place which can only be described as chalk swiss cheese, the warrens are massive, deep chalk jobs. And apart from Friday? The weather has been horizontal, really bad for the best part of it. But, we were there to get a job done, or at least take a small bite out of the corner.. Wednesday saw us remove 40 rabbits, Thursday was hard, lots of digs to nests in the hedgerows and small banks, but deep digs. Removing 38 rabbits. Friday was favourable, weatherwise and bag tally with 47 being removed. And today on a small part of the big banks we hit around the 120 mark.

Downside - we`re not allowed to keep the rabbits, which is shit, but its part of the contract.

Good few rabbits, if the rabbits are there and there's a few pairs of hands you can really make a big old dent.

the weather has bin shit when you do hit week in week out and theres bin no break in between, and hits the love for your sport, why we do hit,,,, i dont think i cud put the same efort in' iff hit was a payed job,,,, thats the funny thing about this hunting game we are in,,,,.

The weather certainly hasn't been kind to us ... 60mph winds and horizontal rain but we are battling on lol ... We have got some open warrens to do over the next week but fukc me are they on a steep slope ... It's going to be emotional ........

i did not reply about the rabbits,, you have to give them back,,,,,why,,,, i could handle that part for 1 day iff some guy said clear them,,, i will give you a good drink,, for your troubles , did you catch them for nothing and have give them back to the land owner,,

Fellas its a paid job it's what I do for a living ... The deal was that the rabbits go back to the estate ... We keep enough to feed the ferrets ... Everybody on the job knew the score before we started so its no big deal ............
