Was away checking snares this morning when the farmer came running out his house he said there is a fox in his back garden,so went through to his kitchen and saw the fox out the window,it was holding it's back leg up and didn't look well,so opened window and shot the fox went upto it and it was covered in mange,it must have been suffering it's back end was just scabs

Fox mange gets talked about a fair bit but cases that far gone are few and far between. That poor fecker caught mange and had a good enough life to survive so long with the disease, whilst it slowly eat away at it....

Best its dead now. Good shooting..... :thumbs:

I saw one crossing the main road a while back, had hardly any fur at all. I wish someone had run it over. I don't like foxes much, but I don't want to see one suffer such a prolonged death. Well done for sorting it out. :thumbs:
