TOP SHOT 1
Hi all, am new to the site and new to this, I have recently sent off for my shotgun licence, how long roughly does it take for the firearms officer to get in touch? And any ideas for a first gun for clays and a bit of ruff shooting? Quote Link to post

J_Edwards 70
South Yorkshire police says between 4-12 weeks. I don't know if that's how long it takes for them to get in touch with you, or how long it takes between sending it off and getting your ticket, presumably the former. I sent my SGC & FAC application off last wednesday, and got a receipt for the postal order through the door yesterday, so at least I know that they've opened it Quote Link to post
