Outlaw Pete 2,224
I did some work once with a bloke who was former SAS and was just missing what ever it is in the brain that gets us to recognise fear or danger. It was absolutely terrifying, watching some of his antics. Worst of all though was when the mad c*** wanted me to follow suit! To this day, I grimace and cringe at the memory of me ..... Oh christ! The f**king memory of it! ..... Me, standing on the top f**king rung of an extender. Three floors up. Nothing below but the pavement. Stretching myself up to hand him a Marley roof tile over the parapet! I swear to god; I was hanging against that brickwork by the power of sweat! Why the F**k I didn't take that tile inside and walk it up the stairs to him has long since become lost to me. I only remember my abject terror and pure disbelief that this was really being made to happen to me. That said? F**king nicest bloke I ever worked for!

Not as dodgy as some of the pics posted, but I remember not being keen lol Cripples we used to call 'em. Done many a pointing job off them. Put two sets of sticks up, hang them underneath on the inside and sling a plank across. No sweat. Cheers, D. untitled.bmp
South hams hunter 8,923
Was on a small private site, used to go onto second lift of the scaff, up a ladder and through a window onto a fully extended tressel that was balenced on joists of the 2 floor. Whole building was a shell on the river so when the wind blew the whole building would shake not just the tressels
