Ferreting 'the Wood' New Video

Here's my latest video filmed over a month ago, No longnets or dogs this time just using purse nets. I was considering calling the video ' The farthing wood' because wild life was out in abundance. It was a cold but great morning sport.

Teach your mate to chin the rabbits in the nets. . . much quicker and a lot easier than trying to stretch em in the nets.

As my little friend above says,, Chining is the way forward,, and so quick ,,, and can be done when the rabbit is very balled up.... That said they were all killed humanily,,,so good on ya,,, we all have to learn somwhere,,, and I remember my first rabbit catches as a young lad,,,, I was going all Bruce lee on them ,,, poor things

Thanks Vin, I will ask him to practice for a new video. It does look better cleaner, Brandon just likse to know they are dead as quick as possible. He shouldn't need to pull a 2nd and 3rd time because im sure they are already dead with his first stretch.

 

Lol Tomo, I cant keep anything hidden from you I have never liked to see rabbits getting the chop, it doesn't look good and if you get them wrong the squeal like hell.

Ps edited to say you boys must have money to burn ferreting in decent clothes....I wear the same cammo jacket every time for ferreting....lol the missus hates it as I won't let her wash it......it's lucky lol
