HELP NEEDED,, Have You Used The Tracer 140

 

Its soon my friends 50th birthday and his father in law

as got a budget of £150.00 to buy him a lamping outfit.

I suggested to buy second hand but he insists he wants to buy

NEW, so i have found a combination on Ebay which consists of

8AH lithium + 140 Tracer For £155.00 Which he said was ok.

He will only be lamping rabbits, but it would be nice to hear some

feedback on anybody that has used this lamp and what They are like in the field,IE tight beam, distance ETC.. regards, SWG DAVE...

iv just gave 2 strikeforce lances away with filters and batteries at the beginning of the season,not bad lamps for small fields

I'd personally always stay with the lightforces I've tried others but none seem to be as good as lightforces to me but it's just my opinion

I have found the Tracer 140 variable with a bigger bulb retro fitted superb, now in its second season

in my opinion i love my 170 striker although do wish it had variable power on it.

Was speaking to guy at local shop and asked about the 140 and said if I changed the head to a 170 would I then get the distance he said yes .. He said you get metre age from the size off head .. So I'll be buying a 140 and fitting it with 170 or 210 as I have one off each depending on where I am .. And probs upgrade to 75w or 100w bulb

They good lamps mate but like said change the bulb to a 75w and for the beam the head of the lamp turns so you can alter the spot beam hope this helps atb mark

ive got the tracer 170 variable its a decent lamp but thought the clulite shooterlight was a better lamp alot lighter tighter beam and shone further you can get the full kit from molevalleyfarmers for 100 with filter mate comes with gunmount and handle so you can obviousy mount it to your gun or hand held wish i never sold it

Swg Dave, Just change the bulb to a 75 or 100watt makes a difference.
