Outlaw Pete 2,224
..... use a claw hammer or crowbar to separate. You have to start with all the bags round the outside as those in the middle will still be solid. I'm sitting here, pissing myself at these comments. But, it's True! Terrible what a freezer can do, isn't it? There's Lapin, going at it with his hammer and bar. Me, chucking it at the floor like a demented cave man! Total f**king quality, these deep freezer things! How the hell did we amuse ourselves without them?

The one 8,481
It must just be mince in poly bags as I freeze rabbits and 8 chicken carcasses in poly bags to fed the ferrets and they come out easy enough but with the bags of mince I needed a long handled screw driver and a crow bar and I was scared I was going to break the freezer so for mince now I bought 200 plastic containers

Great idea cheers,,,, thinking about it,,, I bet you could use the plastic milk cartons you get from supermarkets ,,, just cut the top off.

RubyTex 1,957
How do people sort stuff out when it comes ready frozen? Got a load of mince delivered but it was all frozen so couldn't separate it! Would it be okay to let it defrost a bit then cut up and re freeze?

You could do that as well, got the idea from my uncle for left over stock so applied it to meat. Tescos blue tie handled freezer bags are good as they don't stick to anything.
