pointer 543
When I was working lurchers it was £15-£20 three or four times a week. For a few years I followed hounds all over Britain and was spending a few grand a season due to fuel,B and B's, eating out etc. I'm flying a hawk now and the wind and rain has stopped me getting out onto the dales as much as I want to. I genuinely wish I was putting a few hundred quids worth of fuel in the car every month lol. Quote Link to post

Ideation 8,216
Couple of seasons ago I was regularly doing over 1000 miles a week, hunting in several different counties around the country over the week. These days our total mileage has dropped off a lot, but still our drive for a day or nights hunting is a pretty standard 200 miles each time. Such is life. Quote Link to post
