nothernlite 18,078
i must be the odd one out as i like to know what's in my dogs and more to the point see them work year in year out. only then will i choose to breed and have a true understanding of what i am trying to achieve with the mating, buying in a dog has far to many variables for me, In an ideal world maybe... But he hasn't got a Stud dog for his bitch and he's wanting a pup out of his bitch.. So he,s asking the experts on here. Its could be for his own personal sentimental reasons that he wants a pup from his own dog. . . But like many lads out there, they don't know of a good Stud dog that has whatever qualities and breeding he might require for his own personal choice. I took Tomo's advice myself, when considering breeding from my own rabbiting dog he said to me at the time " Fek that mate, there's too many shit dogs out there,Don't be breeding anymore ! ". So I bought a pup.. lol. Although Im sure I could have had a decent pup from my old bitch,Im really glad i didn't bother now.. . The biggest problem would have been..what the Fek to do with the rest of the litter . . I wouldn't give a Ferret to 95 % of the people out there these days..in fact make that 99%.. I would be a bag of nerves worrying about who/what/where/how/ etc etc they type of nutter was coming to claim a Puppy. 99% of people not good enough for a feeret ffs heard it all now lol Quote Link to post

sniper2011 69
rew i would breed from your bitch, better the devil you know then some bummed up thl bitch that will at best be very average,if you need a dog that will pass on things like good feet and wind use a well bred coursing dog. sandymere 8,263
Recon if any toe gets hit hard enough it break and then its just time for the rest if the dog works hard. If the other feet are ok then I see know problem. Tomo seems a decent sort on here, not met the fella in person though so might be a right fecker in real life lol, but as he said seems sensible and if he recons she's worth breedin from them if put to razor or gaffer let me know, I've just lost my old bitch so have space for a pup and wondering what to get next, and a pup by either out of a decent bitch should do the trick. 1 Quote Link to post
