lucky 578 Posted February 2, 2014 Report Share Posted February 2, 2014 I think when people refer to a dog has a fen dog, they might mean a couple of things like, the dog needed at least half a mile before it even gets on terms with a hare lol, or the dog was capable of killing the best hares this country could provide. A good hare dog is a good hare dog IMO but we all knew a place where the hares were easy enough to catch compared to other land where they were a lot harder to catch. 1 Quote Link to post
