Philluk 181
As I am happy to advise on here I've said a few times there is nothing set in stone to say a dog must be a yr old before you start to train it. I've mentioned on here I'm really proud and pleased how my working cocker has come on. His nose really does work well and he has clicked what the game is all about. Yesterday out rough shooting he showed some enthusiasm in some branches and I grabbed the phone to record it. This carried on for a few more seconds like the footage shows and then a rabbit bolts in a safe area to shoot it so the dog got his reward and brought it back to me. This is in my opinion the best thing about watching a dog working. The dog in question is nearly 2 yrs old and has been like this since March last yr when he was a yr old. http://youtu.be/Adz8NlRlhCg Please add yours. 1 Quote Link to post

Philluk 181
Thanks guys, yes he carried on like this for about 20 seconds after I stopped filming and he was working his way left and a rabbit bolted which was perfect for the browning, he came out on the line after hearing the shot and retrieved it to a great fuss. Philluk 181
To put a video up is quite easy upload to you tube and copy the link under share, it will be something like http://youtu.be/915FdG7qk click on reply then more reply options, in the box type what you want to say then click the switch next to the rubber in far top left corner your txt will look like old typewriter stuff then drop down a couple of lines and click paste, or press ctrl V, or right click paste, whichever you want to do. then click the switch again which will bring you back to your original box, do a quick preview and you should see your video ready to play. Now im sure there are easier ways but that works and I find it easy. Phill Quote Link to post
