dog45 33
the part what put me off was the dog running away with its catch but still I enjoyed the video Quote Link to post
whippet 99 2,613
is that up the dales I ask? and the reason I ask is this must be very similar too the dales and you can see why great bags are taken,... down here in the south you get a few what get confused but they run and know where there running too . there was a noticeable difference in the ground and the rabbits running.... there is no doubt that it is very good lamping and those conditions and those rabbits will enable a good bag... totally different in the south , the dogs have too work a lot harder for each catch , not all the time ,...... but the consistency of catching down here is nothing compared too the continue catching of rabbits on that land..... to me it was more like they really didn't know where they were heading,.........(maybe its just me) , but the coneys running down here are very different (more direct and head for lots of cover) there environment is very different ..... the land in the video makes it very easy for the dogs ,..... total different ball game . when you see videos like that it just looks like a running dogs dream and I envy any person with acess too such land .....very good video thanks for shareing Quote Link to post

Casso 1,261
It's always amazed me that the rabbit that gets up under your feet up close and personal often ends up been the most difficult fecker to catch , whereas a long slip up to a tricky looking one can end up as an easy lift,, Quote Link to post
