Ye was thinking the chicken mince and beef mince. Would the chicken knecks be any good considering the chicken mince has bones in it anyway?

Yea feed them necks aswell pal gives the dog something to chew on that's why I like lamb ribs necks as well 1lb chicken mince and a pint of dry meal every day

make sure you get some bone into the dogs not just flesh. flesh alone isnt a balanced diet, they need bone to get the calcium content for forming and maintaining their own bones. personally i would go for the chicken necks and the lamb

Can you chop the neck up and mix it in with the mince or do you give it whole? I'm trying to work out the best way to do this to avoid too much mess. Also would you include the weight of bone in say chicken wings in the weight of the food?

Mate feed by eye. Never mind weights ect ... bone wise you'll soon know if there to much bone to meat ratio as the shit will be white pebbles ect

Good balanced diet with variety is the key. Dont make things hard for yourself keep it easy

Cant get down to the farm till tomorrow so as an experiment I bought some drumsticks and minced beef....he's eating better than me tonight.

As I suspected he dragged the drumstick off to his bed, I suppose it makes sense he cant eat it from his bowl. Gave it him first in the hope he wouldn't arse about with it too long and then I'll do minced beef with a few bits n bobs in it.
