Know what you need its very easy a Coursing dog simple as that.A dog should be able to run on any land big or small.All this you need a small dog for small fields is bull shit

I use saluki collie bull grey and a 3/4 saluki grey for the long ears.. Have a 15 month pup for next season her sire was half bull hound with abit harrier hound in the lines an her dam was a saluki beddy wheaton Irish terrier grey... Have a collie whippet grey pup aswell only 4/5 months now he's for the rabbiting and ferreting mainly

look for a faster line of coursing x theres been many bred to have early speed but enough stay in case they get dragged about, in short ya want summat fast into um, that's got a gob and aint afraid to use it , summat that wont let the hare settle into its preferred course, plenty line bred stuff like that about
