18 Weeks And Still Waiting Zzzzzzzzzz

Well it's been 18 weeks since I've sent my FAC application off and still no sign of the ticket.

 

Starting to do head in now, has anyone else waited this long ??

I sent mine couple days before xmas, FLO phoned at the weekend and arranged interview for next week. Lincs don't seem to feck about imo. Don't know about your force.

I'd phone your FLO then. AFter the interview it should just be a formality, I've never known the final decision take very long after the interview.

 

Did you have you cabinet installed at the time? They're not waiting on something daft like that are they?

Cabinet was installed and all passed, I called FLO in December and he said to mail him info and he would speak with office and request they deal with ASAP.

 

I've since spoke with BASC who had contact with manager at the office and they said they are processing back log this was 4 weeks ago.

Spoke with FLO today, he's going to chase it up mate.

 

I've had to put gun in storage that my mate was saving he needed space.

Sorry to piss on your fire bud but put my application in just before Christmas, had home visit last week, certificates came through yesterday. 17HMR, .22 and shotgun. Sussex Police. Fingers crossed yours won't be to much longer

SGC times can be bad, but FAC can be a year, I know it sound daft, but it is also true!
