She actually barks if she hears anyone outside the garden and she's growling and play fighting with the other dog. Never had a lurcher that barked lol had whiners but not barkers Link to post
blue staffy 145
Got a 3/8 5/8 dog here he's 28" to the shoulder and strong built around my house and with my 3 year old son he's as gentle as a lamb and laid back but take him out in the field and he's a totally different animal focused on the job in hand Link to post
brenner 773
Ive a six month 3rd gen 1/2 cross bull hound. Shes like a f****n tornado , has none of the laid back social graces you would accosiate with a greyhound. Shes good natured but hard work. Il need to keep manners on this one. She gets out for a good run every day and still when she gets back, if you take a sneaky look out the back window youl see her up on her back legs trying to figure a way to escape the pen for round two Link to post
skycat 6,174
Oh dear, yet another who understands NOTHING about the development of puppies. Pups, no matter what their breeding, are not born as super-driven and confident machines. When they are young they are more like prey animals than predators: think about it! If a little pup started acting all aggressive and cocky it wouldn't last very long if it were born into the wild. They have to be scared, wimpy, cautious, and sometimes even over-sensitive when they are young or they'd soon end up dead. Confidence and drive increase with age as the pup grows physically: all things happen when they are meant to, and not before. 14 Link to post
