wilbur foxhound 480
another way to clean there eyes is to hold there eyelids open and get a cotton bud and hold it against the sand or shit then turn the cotton bud and the shit should stick to it then as above wash out, hope this helps,wf Quote Link to post
skycat 6,173
Best to use a syringe minus the needle: fill with tepid water with just a pinch of salt and squirt gently along the inner lid of the eye, while holding the lid back. Work from the corner of the eye nearest the ear to allow crap to drain towards the tear ducts and out of the front corner of the eye. Do it several times and you'll probably see 'worms' of muddy stuff oozing out from behind the eye. Best to do it as soon as you get home, or even in the field if you can. 2 Quote Link to post

the goat 642
Fairy liquid bottle with water squeeze into the eye whilst opening the eyelids job done. Dobt squirt it as fast as you can obviously but make sure evrything is out after a few digs the dog will get used to it. Also good for giving them a drink after a dig too they dont take long getting used to that... Quote Link to post
Grinder 102
My vet recommended contact lens cleaner... It comes in a squeeze bottle if you get it from tesco and is cheap... I have been using it for 3 seasons now and find it very good . Quote Link to post
