Promethious Pellets

Hi, I've ordered some promethious pellets, just been in the trading post and asked about them, apparently they have no direction and can score the barrel, is this true or is he just saying this so I will but lead pellets from him??

You have the original plastic skirted Prometheus, but then you have the newer Prometheus Defiants. The plastic skirted ones are generally regarded as highly as a pile of poo, the Defiants actually are actually a good pellet!

as above the plastic ones are shite at about 4=6 grain whizz all over and i more accurate with a catty the led ones pretty good like the penertrators or defients

I used to use the OGIVE in my MK4 before I went FAC and they were brilliant. They were extremely accurate.

 

Also the hydrostatic shock they caused was terrific. Not cheap competed to other well known brands but I never dropped a shot whilst out hunting.

I didn't know where this topic had gone - that's the pellets I bought, I just got a sample pack, was more worried about them scoreing the barrel, don't even want to try them if that's the case

Sorry cannot see which pellets you have ordered, have you order Prometheus, Promethes Defiants or Defiant Ogive?

I used to use Defiants in.177 in my Titan pcp before some robbing bugger on here swapped me with an old knackered HW80 (GRR!!!)

Back on the subject, they were extremely accurate and bagged us loads of bunnies.

Cracking groups up to about 45 yards.

Highly recommend them and very cheap!
