Flat Footed Lurcher

Hi it's going to sound dum but hope someone can help I've never had a lurcher pup before I've always had ready workin dog and recently I have purchased a bull x pup and I noticed that here front feet from the joint down are flat to the floor is this normal and will it change or is it some kind of birth defect all advice welcome cheers

Sounds to me someone just picked some poorly bred breeding stock. You've got to work from the ground up to breed dogs and the amount of people that look past it is astonishing.

We'll my mate said the same about walkin her on hard ground and her feet would tighten up I will try and put up some pictures tomorrow and let u all have a look and take it from there cheers for all your feed back Mutch appreciated

you could walk it to the moon and it would still be flat-footed, doesn't mean it wont work

well I walked my old flat footed bitch for a while on the road and it brought them up

for toes to come up you would need to shorten/tighten the ligaments, it would however be beneficial as it would keep the nails short

But plenty of roadwork will improve the feet(whether their naturally good or bad feet).
