Tornado1979 145
One of mates was selling all his gear and I managed to get the night master 800 Dereelight off him, I've been out with him so know what it's capable of. It's got an extension bar and an extra battery, will this provide extra power or just increase the duration ? Quote Link to post
Deano88 9
I have the same and pretty sure the extension just lengthens usage time. I may be wrong, will have to try it but pretty sure its just longer usage time. what colour l.e.d does it come with? Think I also read somewhere you can not use the extension tube when using a white l.e.d Quote Link to post
Tornado1979 145
Hoping to test it next weekend mate, didn't get instructions with it but read online about 3 different modes by twisting body but can't seem to change it. It come with red L.e.d mate, I will be looking at getting white head in future. Quote Link to post
Deano88 9
I have the red led also. Think the 3 mode setting is only operational when in conjuction with the white led. I can't comment on other led lamps as this is my first high end lamp but I have used the wide beam for air rifle lamping and used the longer range for HMR shooting and have found it very good and with the extension tube, I have been out for around 3 hours without the batteries running out. Not too sure of the total battery time but its deffo ok for 3 hours+ Quote Link to post
andy97 209
no the exstension tube works with white led and all settings work with all colours Quote Link to post
Deano88 9
http://www.nightmaster.co.uk/hunting-lamping-light.html The extension tube is only comptible with IR,red, green, yellow and high voltage " white (2MT-M) LEDs only)" If you use it with the standard white led you will damage it and void warranty. As for the mode settings, Im sure somebody on this forum had issues and was told the 3 modes were not compatible with the coloured led's with extension tubes. I may be wrong but I cant seem to get it to work neither. Quote Link to post
slipper 116
Thats right I bought mine with the red led and in only works in single mode but I bought the green turbo led which is the best imo and that has three power setting by just pressing the tail switch. 1 Quote Link to post
