It's not really changes that much in ages, still a knockout competition with rounds placed about the same time each season and a final in May. Were they trying to fill time in their show? ferguson 7 Posted January 26, 2014 Report Share Posted January 26, 2014 The fa cup isn't as important to the clubs challenging in the champions league & premier league due to the money involved. Because of this club boards demand success in these 2 completions and the fa cup is just a bonus. Same for the smaller clubs really, it is far more important for them to finish as high as possible in the league/ avoid relaxation than have a cup run. 2 Quote Link to post Share on other sites
