I agree WAZ its no where near the size of the CLA and I doubt the Midland either.

Topper if your into your hounds its great  Your ears will be ringing with hunting horns after a day lol Lots of good shooters especially for driven game, very few terriers.

Loire is a lovely area and the Château Chambord is a stunning backdrop for the Game Fair which i found a great experience.

Those white hounds look branded. Is that legal in France? What about freeze-branding?

It's done with scissors, a real work when you have 100 dogs in the kennel.

I didnt realise that Blaise, I thought it was a brand, that's a big job with lots of hounds.

Each year, a kind of hunt is shown at Chambord. Sometimes, terriers are shown (each 4 or 5 years).

But Chambord is a very important event for french terriermen because here we have, each year, our annual congress : Association Francaise des Equipages de Venerie Sous Terre.

Last year, the theme of Chambord was the 1.200 anniversary of Lieutenant de louveterie. A corps of hunters founded by Charlemagne in 883 to struggle against wolves. This corps is still used by Government to resolve problems with wild animals. We are 1.500 lieutenants de louveterie.

Among french terriermen, we have some lieutenants de louveterie. They were in Chambord last year with their dogs.
